A Surprise Engagement Party at Atelier: A Celebration of Love

This summer, we had the pleasure of hosting a stunning surprise engagement party at Atelier (elliestyled’s event venue), and it was nothing short of magical! The vibe was bright and beautiful, with clouds of blue hydrangeas and playful cosmos nestled amongst cheerful lemony print linens, setting the perfect backdrop for this special occasion.

Guests were treated to a grand seafood display from Vendador Chicago, featuring an exquisite presentation of Osetra caviar, lobster, oysters, scallop ceviche, and shrimp, all beautifully curated by Chef Francis to get the party started. To satisfy their appetites, we also served delicious wood-fired pizza from Mamma Mia Pizza, ensuring everyone was well-fed and happy.

As for refreshments, dirty martinis and Aperol spritz kept guests well-hydrated throughout the celebration. And for a sweet touch, we set up a Jeni’s Ice Cream station, complete with a variety of flavors, toppings, and, of course, waffle cones. A little birdie told us it was the bride-to-be's favorite, making it the perfect treat! 🤍

The Design Process

Each event we design begins with a collection of inspirational images, allowing us to envision the overall theme and mood. For this Italian-inspired engagement party, we layered accessories, linens, and a collection of objects to bring the vision to life. With blue hydrangeas taking center stage and a side of Jeni’s Ice Cream, we created an enchanting atmosphere that truly reflected the couple’s love story.
